HUD & UI Elements v1.16.2
Significant core changes
Version 1.16.2 introduces significant core changes. If your project was created using an earlier version, you'll need to update it properly to ensure full compatibility with the new release.
How to Update Safely
Before anything else, open your project created with the previous version and save it as a new .blend file. This preserves a safe backup in case you need to revert.
Go to the Add-ons panel, and then disable the add-on. After disabling the add-on, restart Blender to clear any cached data.
With Blender restarted, install the updated version (v1.16.2) of the add-on. Once again, it’s recommended to restart Blender after installation.
Now open the previously saved version of your project. The elements will automatically be converted to the new system.
If you can’t see the HUD & UI Elements Panel under the Object tab, it’s likely the element was baked in the old version. Make sure to unbake it in the previous version before updating.
